Ok. So the first week with the Chevy Volt is over. It represents an average week. At this point my Impala would need to be filled up with about $55~$60 in gas. The 0.9 gals of gas used this week were all on that first Saturday night when I picked it up from the dealer (they didn’t have it charged). So the last 7 days have been gas free! Full disclosure: I’ve spoke to NV Energy and got on the special hybrid/electric vehicle rate, so this week did cost me $3 in electricity.
